Frequently asked questions
How do I get started?
Choose Retail or Institutional and enter your special access code. Access is by invitation only; there is no public sign-up. Retail opens the trading dashboard and journal. Institutional opens the research workspace. No subscription is required.
Can I switch between Retail and Institutional?
Yes. The same access code opens both workspaces. Use the workspace links to switch, or Change default workspace on your account page to update where the desk opens next time in this browser. Choosing Institutional does not create organisation membership or grant live trading permissions.
Are these live trading results?
The previews on this page are simulations. Most desk views currently show labelled sample data. The positional scanner separately shows received scan data and its timestamp.
Does the website place trades?
No. Broker execution is not connected to this website. The execution and kill-switch controls are simulations and cannot change positions in your brokerage account.
Where are my journal entries saved?
Desk journal entries, settings and alert levels are saved in this browser. The institutional desk and saved scanner workspaces are shared by everyone who holds the access code, so treat them as shared desk notes. Algora Journal also opens with the access code; its account-linked storage, broker connections and imported broker records stay tied to individual Algora accounts, so code holders without an account use the desk journal.
Do alert rules send notifications?
Not yet. You can save price levels to watch, but background monitoring and notification delivery are not connected.
Where do I manage billing?
For existing Algora accounts, open Your account from the desk, then expand Existing billing to manage or cancel a subscription. Workspace access does not require a subscription.
